Loop and Loupe

A loop is a circular pattern or shape.  To loop is to move in a circular pattern.  An audio or video clip is said to loop when it repeats.

“In the loop” is an idiom meaning that people keep you informed about something.

“Loopy” is a slang expression for irrationality.  

A loupe is a magnifier for one eye, traditionally used by jewelers and watchmakers.
