Common Misspellings
Here is a short list of very common spelling errors.
- Alot - There is no such word. It is two words. The correct spelling is "a lot."
- Definately - The correct spelling is "definitely." It is strictly misspelled because the pronunciation is often not clear.
- Anyways - "Any" is singular, but "ways" is plural. It would be better to say "anyway."
- Alright - This is becoming more widely accepted, but it is sloppy writing. Use "all right" instead.
